WELCOME TO BLACKBERRY RIDGE FARM
Blackberry Ridge Farm, in Greeneville, Tennessee, is a professional partnership dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional Irish Draught and producing top quality sporthorses. Its home is Tracy and Debbie Dobbs' beautiful 300+ acre farm, just an hour northwest of Knoxville. Tracy and Debbie Dobbs, and Tony Phillips merged land, business and horses in 2006 to form this partnership and have since invested significant thought, time and effort into the creation of a premier facility to meet training, breeding, foaling, schooling and competitive needs.
The main stud barn houses senior, junior and prospective stallions, accommodates broodmares with a foaling wing, designed particularly to accommodate any special needs mares or foals and a modern breeding facility and lab. Currently there is an all-weather dressage arena, grass show jumping arena and the beginnings of tracks and fences for the cross-country course. The indoor arena will be completed in the beginning of 2008, attaching to the main stud barn.
Sponsored by ONLY FOOLS & HORSES, an American based business which imports European tack and equipment, Blackberry Ridge is home to some of the most prestigious bloodlines of the Irish Draught global herd.
Blackberry Ridge currently stands three purebred STALLIONS and a sporthorse stallion as well as a Connemara pony stallion and standing deceased Banks Fee Daniel via frozen semen. The foundation sire is Snowford Bellman, RID; one of the most influential sires alive today, and who may prove in time to be one of the most influential sires of the breed. At the relatively young age of seventeen Bellman has already produced three purebred stallions and two sporthorse stallions among numerous other stock inspected and fully approved both in the North America and Europe. Currently, three of these sons stand at Blackberry Ridge.

DR. & MRS. TRACY DOBBS, FARM OWNERS
Both Tracy and Debbie Dobbs developed a love for horses early in their lives. Tracy has many fond memories or riding and handling horses with his father and always missed riding once he moved to Knoxville. Debbie worked diligently to develop her riding ability throughout her life and introduced each of her daughters to the sport at very early ages. At one time Debbie operated a horse stable in Oklahoma with over 14 of her own personal horses. Although moving from a country residence to a city residence in Tennessee brought the horse count to a mere one, both Tracy and Debbie always sought to continue to pursue their passion for horses and one day build the farm of their dreams. With their three daughters grown, Tracy and Debbie saw the window of opportunity before them and soon after, Blackberry Ridge Farm was born. |

Debbie and her horse, LEONARDO, are in the process of working on perfecting upper level dressage skills. Tracy is currently taking lessons and further refining his English riding ability while also handling developmental and maintenance duties at Blackberry Ridge Farm. They are both enjoying their weekend residence on the Blackberry Ridge Farm property since summer 2006.
