WELCOME TO BLACKBERRY RIDGE FARM

Blackberry Ridge Farm, in Greeneville, Tennessee, is dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional Irish Draught and producing top quality sport horses.   It is the home of Tracy and Debbie Dobbs, spanning over 300 acres, nestled in the heart of beautiful Greene County, with bountiful creek bottoms and panoramic vistas, located just an hour Northeast of Knoxville, Tennessee.   Blackberry Ridge is the passion of Tracy and Debbie and they devote endless thought, time and effort to further develop their farm as a premier horse facility to meet training, boarding, schooling and competitive needs.

The main barn houses personal and sale horses that are currently in BRF's riding program.  Blackberry Ridge Farm boasts an 80 x 200 covered arena with mirrors and manicured footing, an all-weather outdoor arena, grass show-jumping area, miles of trails and tracks with fences, coops and gates ideal for hacking out and/or conditioning and training.

Blackberry Ridge is home to some of the most prestigious bloodlines of the Irish Draught global herd. Blackberry Ridge Farm currently stands deceased Banks Fee Daniel via frozen semen.

DR. & MRS. TRACY DOBBS, FARM OWNERS
Both Tracy and Debbie developed a love of horses early in their lives.  Tracy, who has many fond memories from his youth of riding and handling horses with his father, (also an avid horseman) missed riding when he relocated to the Knoxville area.  Debbie who has throughout her life, diligently worked in pursuit of developing her riding skills, also introduced each of her daughters to the equine world at very early ages.  At one point, Debbie operated a horse stable in Oklahoma with over 14 of her own personal horses.  Moving from a country residence in Oklahoma to a city residence in Tennessee brought the horse count to a mere one.  Both Tracy and Debbie always thought to further pursue their passion for horses and one day build the farm of their dreams.  With their three daughters grown, the dream came to fruition and Blackberry Ridge Farm was born.

Debbie’s upper level dressage horse LEONARDO, is now happily retired at Blackberry Ridge.  As the dream comes full circle, Debbie is now working with the first born on the farm, Cadbury, a 5 year old RID gelding,  introducing him to the basics of dressage.
